Located around Labuan Bajo in Indonesia, Komodo National Park is one of the world's most exciting destinations for scuba diving. What Can You See While Diving in Komodo?

Komodo's waters are home to manta rays, reef sharks, turtles, schools of fish, colourful coral and countless smaller marine creatures. Every dive can offer something different.

Manta Rays & Sharks

Manta rays are one of Komodo's biggest attractions, while reef sharks can often be found around the park's reefs. Wildlife encounters depend on the location and conditions, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Coral & Famous Dive Sites

Komodo has beautiful coral reefs and a huge variety of marine life. With many dive sites spread throughout the national park, daily trips and liveaboards can explore different areas depending on the conditions.

Currents & Diving Conditions

Komodo is well known for its strong currents, which bring nutrient-rich water into the park and attract abundant marine life. Some sites are ideal for experienced divers, while calmer sites can be selected for beginners.

Daily Diving

From Labuan Bajo, you can join a full-day trip into Komodo National Park with 3 dives, breakfast and lunch included. Trips generally leave in the morning and return to Labuan Bajo in the afternoon.

Liveaboards

Want to explore further? Liveaboard trips allow you to spend several days aboard the boat, reaching more remote areas and maximising your time underwater. Bajo Dive Club offers 3D/2N and 4D/3N options, with longer private trips also available.

Beginner Diving

You don't need to be a certified diver to experience Komodo. Discover Scuba Diving allows beginners to try scuba diving with an instructor, while the PADI Open Water course is available for those who want to become certified.

Advanced Diving

Experienced divers can enjoy Komodo's stronger currents, drift dives and deeper sites. Bajo Dive Club also offers the PADI Advanced Open Water course for divers looking to develop their skills.
